I've been travelling since May 2018. I'm travelling to have great experiences to expand my understanding of the world and make deep connections with interesting people.

By day I like to explore cities or go for a hike in nature, and if there are people who want to join me on that even better. By night I like to unwind from the day, having interesting conversations with people playing board games, exploring the location I'm in or just generally having fun.

I've travelled a lot in the past in hostels but want to meet more local people on my latest adventure and make deeper connections - seems like CouchSuflrfing is a great way to do that

Interesses

I love to be outside hiking and exploring places - I find it very inspirational for photography as well to just walk around looking at the details of the place I'm in. For exercise and fun I like to do Lindy Hop dancing and am a purple belt in karate. For indoor activities on those rainy days or when you just want to chill, I like playing board games, watching films and just generally getting to know people.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

My favourite travel/culture related film is Lost in Translation. It really captures how great it is to make special connections with people.

Other favourite films are: The Truman Show, Groundhog day, Lord of the Rings, Mr Nobody, Fantastic Planet, The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

For Music, I like anything that sounds good, although have found that this generally doesn't apply to techno or heavy metal. Bands I like go from Beirut to the Dropkick Murthys.

I mostly read non-fiction books as I like to learn about the world and its history. While travelling, I do like to read fiction books set in the place I'm staying in to help me understand the culture better.

Climbed the tallest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in less than 24 hours, raising money for Kenyan Orphans. Abseiled down the tallest all-hospital building in the world. I'm terrified of heights and there are photos to prove how true this is.

Teach:Lindy Hop dancing or karate with anyone who's up for trying. I can also share the photography and cooking skills I've picked-up over the years

Learn: Taking my camera skills to the next level would be great

Share: I travel light so it'll be local.
