About Me
Hey my name is Alex! Currently I'm hitchhiking around sweden, my requests will probably be quite spontaneous. As I do not know where I'm gonna end up each night :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To truly experience a country I thing it's important to see how the people in that country live and think. Stories of other people and just being in a country as a tourist does not do a culture justice.
I also love meeting new people and hope to make many friends around the world. I'm hoping to get an inside view of countries, make tons of new friends and exchange cultures, food and languages both ways.
Interests
I love to meet new people and experience other cultures and languages, this is kinda obvious since I'm traveling so let me tell you what else I like.
When I'm in Germany I love to do sports especially track and judo. Additionally to doing sports I also used to coach little children in Judo for over three years, passing on what that sport has given to me.
I also love to go trekking in the mountains and generally love being in the nature.
Also I love to read whenever I have some spare time it's likely you'll find me with a book.

Music, Movies, and Books
I mostly listen to classic rock, metal and indie, but I'm open to most kinds of music.
I love to read. My favorite genre is fantasy, but I will read everything I can get. Especially when I'm traveling and only have poorly stoked book-exchanges to choose from.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 15 I lived in the US for a year a truly unforgettable experience.
