Hey, my name is Alex. I am currently 31 years old. I started to work as a Trainee in Finance in March 16. Currently living in Ghent, working in the Netherlands. I would say I am an optimistic and outgoing person. I am interested in different culutures and languages. That's why I spent a year in the US when I was 16 and during my Bachelor's degree I studied one semester in Peru.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I like to meet new people and get to know different cultures, languages and thoughts on things/ life. Couchsurfing also gives me the opportunity to meet people who might have fun showing me around their town and vice versa.
Music, Movies, and Books
Especially rock - -such as Blink 182, Brand New, Yellowcard, Jimmy Eat World, O.A.R. , Dispatch, The Maine, Mayday Parade, etc. I love Latin music - such as Maná, Carlos Vives, etc. I also like music of the 50th, 60th and 70ths. Sometimes I also listen to Jazz - without knowing any specific artist or song.

While I studied in Peru, I hiked 5 days to see Machu Picchu

I am interested in sports - especially soccer. But I also like to play and/ or watch Tennis, Squash, American Football I like music especially rock, brit rock, alternative, ska and Latin music I also like to read and watch series on Netflix. I am interested in other people, their interest and in languages.
