ABOUT ME

I always feel as though it is hard to write a description about one's self. Why? You ask. Well, because we never reaally know who we are- we can surprise ourselves everyday. However, this, I do know: I'm always going off on tangents. It seems as though I have too much to talk about at once and have somehow missed my original point in the first place... You might be thinking-Does this girl even have a point? Chances are, I probably have made a point, it just so happens that it was about some other tangent I went on the day before. Anyway, enough about tangents and points.

Upon any conversation, you will find that I laugh quite a lot- even if you haven't said anything funny. I am very easily distracted and find my own humor in many things. I feel as though laughter is the best medicine to life, and generally, if life doesn't go your way you just have to learn from your experiences, take it with a grain of salt, and laugh about it. When all else fails, what else is there to do but laugh?

I am not all about laughing, in all seriousness, I am a very open-minded person, and take comfort when people share their real views on people, concepts, art, humor, etc. All I'm really trying to say is, I have a passion for understanding how people are, people's aspirations, and motivations in life.

Meeting other people and understanding their way of thinking is a great way to understand one's self.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, I have very little experience in couchsurfing, but I am looking forward to new meeting new people and gaining a greater understanding of the world!

兴趣

Its always interesting to hear about why one's work of art was created. Though the aesthetics of art are always what attract my attention, I find it true that it is easier to find appreciation in understanding the underlying meaning of a piece of work. It is also intriguing to see how people differ in their perceptions of any type of work.

Yes, I admire art, but I also create things as well...for example, I have been painting with oils since I was fifteen and I have just started to learn the fundamentals of ceramics and sculpture while studying in Italy. I also tend to take joy in finding creative solutions for small problems.

Dance. I have been dancing for fun since I was a little girl. I have always admired people who have an extreme passion for dance, and wish I had the same drive. For me, it seems that dancing for fun is a way to relieve stress, and express my creativity. The types of dance I have been working on are mostly ballet, tap, and jazz, however, I have only recently been practicing modern, lyrical, and hip-hop. (don't ask me to show you hip-hop...major fail...haha)

Lets just say an extention to dance- synchronized swimming. I was in a club until I was 18. It was the time of my life.

Swimming in general is very freeing if you ask me.

Music..music all day long with everything I do...it soothes the soul.
