Hi ! I'm Alexandre and I'm a French travel-lover proud to be part of this great community !

My wish being here is to discover new places abroad, meet new and interesting people and share with them a piece of local everyday life ! My current dream is to visit Canada (Quebec especially) a 2nd time in backpacking, and also Japan, but every destinations interest me.

I am very active and have lots of hobbies and interests, such as cinema and TV series, video games, music, literature, traveling, cooking and gastronomy in general, cultural and historical events, animals and nature...
A child at heart, I definitely am quite a "nerd" : sci-fi/fantasy fan (involved in a yearly event about it, one of the biggest in France), attend "live action role play" games, gamer...

Very open-minded, I'm also very friendly and curious of everything and everyone. I wish to spend the maximum of time possible with my hosts or guests ! :-)

I travelled for many years now, always had an interest for discovery, exciting experiences in the unknown, and different cultures.

But my intense appetite for meeting people around the world was born during a trip to Serbia, a country I would have never thought about if I had not previously met a couple of Serbian friends in France who invited me in Serbia and welcomed me with unique and really moving warmth and hospitality. When I came back, we weren't just friends anymore, we were like family. And this magical experience changed me deeply for the best.

Since then, I'm constantly looking for the Encounter with a big "E", the one that has the power to transmit unforgettable memories and touch your heart forever. I'm still young and live modestly, but I'm eager to meet new people from all around the world, as hosts or guests, if they share my natural happiness, generosity and open-mindedness. :-)

I tasted what "sharing" really means and want to experience it again and again. That's why I'm travelling, and that's why I'm joining this community.
