Hey, you. My name is Alexandre and everyone calls me either Alex or Ale. I was born and raised in a small town in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil and eventually had to move to my current city, Uberlândia, in order to pursue my educational goals and be able to become an International Relations undergraduate student.

I am passionate about life, friends and family and I simply love animals. I get along really well with dogs, as I have had some experience with a very stubborn pug named Ricky.

I simply love making new friends and experiencing new cultures. Being able to learn through this amazing tool is what motivates me to host people and also look for someone able to host me when I travel.

兴趣

I'm pretty much open to any kind of things. I love outdoor activities such as hiking, biking or even having a nice picnic in the park. Even though I think I don't need to write it down here, I'll make it clear that I am always down for some good talk over some really ice-cold beer. On cold days, I'd rather stay home and read, maybe watch a good movie over a bowl of popcorn, or put some layers on and leave home to explore the city. I don't actually mind doing things on my own. In fact, I pretty much know how to make myself company and I do enjoy it. But, of course, I also like friends and people around me whenever that is possible.

I mostly listen to everything people actually recommend me. I'm pretty open to new musical experiences and I'm always ready to listen to something new, even if it hurts my ears for some time. I can't seem to get into heavy metal, though (believe me, I have tried to.). Birdy is by far my favorite singer and I can't get enough of any of her songs.
I love cartoons and that is something which hasn't changed over the years. I love all sorts of animes and I'm always down for some good talk about my favorite charachters or maybe about how I think Aang was a way better avatar than Korra, or how badass TK's Digimon was.
I also love comedies. White Chicks is one of my favorite ones. I have tried watching some series but I always end up giving up on them after the second season. It must be a curse or something.
I love Harry Potter books and I can spend hours talking about them.

I know it might sound silly, but the first time I saw snow was a life-changing experience to me. I had always dreamed of eating it, and that's what I did when I first saw it. Too bad there was dog pee in it.
