Overview
About Me
I'm an actor, so I spend much of my time exploring and performing other, fictional identities. Sometimes I struggle to describe the reality of my own.
One circle is generous and excitable. Another is considerate and introspective. I overlap at curious and playful.
I enjoy being in motion, having momentum on my side. Laughter -- my own and others' -- never ceases to amaze me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm eager to make real connections with people in new places and to learn about their lives there.
I hope for an authentic travel experience. I want to see the art and culture being made in the world right now.
People tend to make the place. Whether close bonds form between a host and traveler or not, the gesture of exchange, and what that says about our world view, is meaningful.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't know about favorites, but I've recently consumed (and enjoyed)...
-- laid back quasi-experimental music and queer hip hop
-- minimalist documentaries and narrative features inspired by those aesthetics
-- Maggie Nelson's "The Argonauts" and Jesse Ball's "Samedi the Deafness"
Teach, Learn, Share
I always love to talk or collaborate on something aesthetic. It would be great to have a mindful conversation about something meaningful.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have some experience with the Alexander technique (of posture and body realignment) and would be glad to lead some restorative exercises with you!
I'm a happy cook and wouldn't mind preparing meals.
I'm also fairly handy and can help with minor home/bike repairs.
