About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Gathering jokes around the world

ABOUT ME

I'M NOT EASY GOING!
I don't like people who are too boring. I like to share experiences and different cultures with others and I love to debate loudly on a lot of things.

Most of my friends would probably tell you that my house is an "Auberge Espagnole" (for those who have seen the movie).

I like music (even if I'm handicaped with rithm) and Cinema a lot (I usualy never go for the blockbusters that I find boring...)

I love to party either at my place or in Marseille). It's more fun and crazy!

I love to go sailing on my boat which is in Marseille (7m sailing boat). It's a small old boat but just good enough for what I need. 4 people could sleep in it.

I'm also very easy to say things that I don't like just as much as the things that I like. So if I don't like you or your behaviour, you will know about it very soon, trust me...

PS: if:
1. you're looking for an hotel on your way from/to spain or Italy.
2. you haven't read my profile
3. you are doing couchsurfing just for saving money on your holidays
4. you don't understand second degree humor

THEN DON'T BOTHER COMING TO MY PLACE, NONE OF US ARE GONNA HAVE A GOOD TIME.

PS: Apparently, the location system does not work fine with my internet provider at Home, So don't pay attention to it!

PHILOSOPHY

Go with the flow... Brainstorming is not really my thing. Carpe Diem. Which doesn't mean I don't like to discuss about philosophy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to share.

My friends usualy say that I'm a good cook (only when I cook for others) and my speciality is the BBQ in provencal/asian mix... I almost never use the same recipe so sometimes it can be strange.

I would love to show you around if I have time for it.

Don't expect me to take you to the touristic places. I'm more into the special hidden stuff that are not in the tourist guides.
Don't come for the lavander fields, they only exist in:
* your dreams
* on post cards
* in paintings

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Breaking news: I'm planing a trip to Ukraine in June it's going to be my first time officially surfing! Wahoo! Can't wait...

So far I have hosted quite a lot. Some surfers were amazing and It was a great experience. But some have been boring with no acquaintance with me :( -Yes I know it's not politicly correct to say other CS are not perfect, some just weren't!-

Overall It's some great experience!!!

And I also had several couchsurfers with the people I have met in my different journeys.

The longest I had, was a Drunk English friend of mine who "surfed" 6 months in my couch.

I also have a lot of friends crashing at my place in the weekend then staying over... (I guess that doesn't count)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: a lot (Woody Allen, Almodovar, Tim Burton, Stanley Kubrick, Emir Kusturitsa, Park Chan-Wook, David Linch, Patrice Leconte, Cedric Klapish, and so many more...)
Music: Anything that is good (I know It doesn't meen anything to say that but those who like good music know what I talking about...)I mainly listen to Reggae and Electro but it could be anything. I like music when it's loud in the evening and soft in the morning!
Books: I wish I had more time to read... I try to read all my classics (now I'm stuck in ZOLA which I love...) and my favorite book is High Fidelity.
To prepare my trip to Ukraine I got 4 books of Ukrainians writers: I started with "the 12 Chairs" So far I love it!
