About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Down for most things.

ABOUT ME

Originally from Illinois, I've stuck to the midwest most of my life and have been in Indy for the last 6 months.
Louisville is one of my all time favorite places. Friends there are exceptional. The coffee shops are abundant and don't close until late.

I have the capacity to talk a lot, and am generally outgoing. Really into trying things at least once especially when that thing involves some sort of physical activity.

Currently working at IU Health as a web services something, and thinking about going into a Medical Anthropology graduate program.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I actually just built a 72"x30" couch/sleeping pad in an extra room at my house (shared) so I would be all for inviting a guest or so over.

Intend on using this service plenty overseas and down south in the next year.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had two solid experiences. I was staying with a friend who opened her apartment to a CS traveler who was really interesting, and another time invited over a lady named True North. She was working on an app that would give CS travelers ways to rate various experiences within cities.

Both interesting people, and both shared in eating, drinking and conversation. Good times.

Interests

Bike riding, music, frisbee, reading and writing, different spiritual avenues, Yerba Mate, and walking. Yep, walking. Also like hiking, rock climbing (I've yet to do this outside), and all things Anthropology.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My good friend and I unwittingly swam across the Ohio River in Kentucky, and had to hitchhike and trainhop our way home.

Unfortunately we left our cell phones, wallets, and car in southern Kentucky, and his girlfriend was none too happy with our uncertain whereabouts.

Teach, Learn, Share

I got nothing, but I think this idea is freaking brilliant.
