Hi there! I'm Alex, an avid traveler and adventure enthusiast from Malaysia. I am embarking on a journey with a mission to leave as much footprints in any country as possible ;) What sets me apart is my unwavering curiosity and open-minded approach to travel. I believe that every trip is a new chapter and a new lesson, filled with stories waiting to be told and lessons waiting to be learned. Whether it's bonding with locals over a shared meal, capturing breathtaking landscapes through my camera lens, or diving into the history and traditions of a new place, I immerse myself fully in every experience. When I am not on the road, you will find me planning my next adventure, writing my personal journal which I wish to share to more people in the future and of course inspiring others to step out of their comfort zones and explore the world! As I am new in the community, I wish there is tolerance beforehand and I promise you will have a great time with me once the icebreaking session is over! PS.: since I am always constantly moving, so I would not be able to host at the moment, but if I am finally settled down in my home country and someone would like to explore the capital region, or nearby places, I am happy to introduce!

Music, Movies, and Books
🎵 Music is always around me, whether it’s something chill or something to dance to. I’m a huge Daniel Powter fan — his songs hit that kind of lonely-but-comforting mood that just fits me. Grew up with Jay Chou, Mayday, Accusefive and all the iconic Chinese artists. I also love early 2000s energy — Avril Lavigne, Paramore, Snoop Dogg, Bruno Mars (especially Young, Wild & Free). Recently I got into reggaeton — shoutout to my Chilean friends for introducing me to Cris MJ. Oh, and yes — I saw Taylor Swift live 🎬 Movies that stick with me usually have something epic or emotional going on. Interstellar is the one I’ll rewatch forever — the science, the emotion, the scale. I also love The Maze Runner series and recently watched Lord of the Rings for the first time (I know, super late — but loved it). The Motorcycle Diaries (2004) really hit home for me, especially because it reminds me of what it feels like to travel with purpose. 📚 I don’t read as much as I’d like, but when I do, I go for fiction — especially if there’s a plot twist or some deep idea behind it. One of the books that amazed me was Shakespeare’s Hamlet (I read a Chinese translation) — I loved how layered and intense it was. I’m curious about more sci-fi too, just need the right moment (and mood) to dive in. 📖
