HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I open my couch up to travelers and love to experience new exciting adventures. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Met a great group of local couch surfers in the Central Illinois Area who got the traveling fever started in me.. I took a trip to St Petersburg, FL and had an incredible time couch surfing with our host - she will undoubtedly change the world of eco-friendly fashion. I will have to say my favorite part was looking out at the Gulf of Mexico and restringing an acoustic guitar - it made me realize my complete appreciation for musical expression. Before moving to STL, I surfed a night in Soulard enjoying the finest cheap beer the area had to offer along with my spanish teaching host. We partied hard and I ended up passing out at his neighbors apartment! What better way to start a new life in STL! Weekend Warriored Tulsa OK enjoyed some College Dance Parties, a true Tulsa Mud Run, the coolest home made fort next to Joe Creek & Sharing some drinks with some old vietnam vets / blue collared workers who thought I was too crazy and needed to settle down! Even though the couch fell thru in NYC I walked the rainy streets checking out my favorite locations of the city namely "The Upright Citizens Brigade" where it all started, walked the streets of Times Square enjoyed some incredible beers in the basement of the Empire State Building and helped campaign a local politician for a New York Minute on the street corners. Tell my kitty to pack the bags cause we're moving to NYC! Weekend Warriored the music scenes of the midwest, unfortunately the couch fell thru in Indianapolis but my hosts in Louisville ensured that my friends first experience was the embodiment of everything Couch Surfing. The band jammed the downtown played shuffle board at the local hidden dive bar and learned how Louisville relates to St Louis in many ways.
