Hello! I’m Alfiya from Russia, Moscow. I’m sociologist and demographer, for now doing my PhD in HSE University on refugee migration from Syria and Afghanistan to Russia and sometimes work on applied projects on freelance (and dream of going to Turkey with exchange program). Before I was a social journalist, worked in international foundation and Afghanistan’s embassy and a lot of other things. Really love and appreciate friends and friendship (it’s kind of soil underfoot for me). So, may be you’ll find reliable friend in me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to immerse myself in culture. It seems to me that if I traveled somewhere and didn’t visit the house of local people at least once, the trip didn’t exist (I think the fact is that I’m going sociologist and I need a little more!). The cities and scenery talk a lot about the country, but still leave a more superficial impression of it. Not so long ago I rent my own flat in Moscow, and I will be glad to welcome you too!
