About Me

Born in a small village south of the Alps in the italian speaking part of Switzerland. From the first time that I went far from home, my desire to meet new cultures has never diminished. Photography pushed me to move, observe, socialize and get closer to people, helping me to discover other points of view and ways of life.
I m currently living in a small village in Ticino the place of my roots, where I work as a free-lance photographer. I love nature, walking, music, arts, mountains, simple life and freedom.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel I always try to meet local persons in order to understand better and go more deeply in the culture of the place I m visiting. I like to interact and learn from people and other cultures and habits. Finally I would like to try couchsurfing to know better the people of the countries I will visit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the luck to visit around 50 countries always trying to interact with their people, having every time nice surprises and amazing moments.
One amazing thing I can think now is living six months in the Costa Rican jungle without electricity and tap water, working in the protection of a part of forest against illegal appropriation of protected plants and animals ..and just after that taking a boat to a island in Panama, living three months in a small hut and walking every night 4 times 4 kilometers along the beach protecting the eggs of Leatherback marine turtles from steal and erosion .

What I Can Share with Hosts

Passion for life, friendiness, be open, easy, share experiences. I like comedy, fun and funny people. Life is too short to bee to serious. I like to meet people that lives trying to enjoy every day and moments being aware of the present.
