About Me

I come from Madrid, city where I spent my entire childhood. For the past 20+ years, thanks to my job I have been moving up and down random places around the word. On my free time, I also did a fair amount of travelling. Few years ago I settled back in Spain, in a small village 1 hour away of Madrid, ( well, it is more appropriate to say that i tried to settle because for one reason or another I am always on the move.

I try to take life as it comes, somehow looking for the positive side of each situation. Now days i really appreciate a simple and slow life.

If we get in contact, most likely it will be on behalf of my partner and I. She also has a CS profile.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a surfer, CS is a great way to go beyond visiting a place to see random monuments. I don´t need free accommodation, so if i send you a request, it means I am happy to spend time with my hosts if they can and want.

As a host, I love CS because it has given me the opportunity to meet some of the most interesting people I have seen in life. But if you only want a free place to crash, i have no inconvenient with that, just let me know.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love sci-fiction, but I am open to read any book people would recommend me. However, If I have to pick, I end choosing one about space ships and aliens.

I also like podcasts. About geopolitics, science, and those where someone interviews someone who knows a lot about something.

When it comes to movies, i love zombie stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I do is having breakfast. Having a nice morning fest, no rush, a variety of foods and a good conversation.
Likely for me, I get to practice that quite often :)

Teach, Learn, Share

If you are interested in practicing your Spanish or English am happy to help.
If you are interested in learning about child protection in humanitarian crisis I am sure I can talk a lot a bout that.
I also enjoy cooking, i can always teach you who to prepare some of the Spanish classics.
I am a curious person so i probably will be asking you a lot of questions about whatever you do in life.
