I'm originally from Mexico and I have been living in the New York area for almost 8 years.
I studied history and languages in the University of California and then I came to New York City to do a Masters in Creative Writing at NYU. I currently work writing content at a startup.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had two very good couchsurfing experiences in Brazil as a host and I'm looking forward to being more involved with the travelling community.

I really like cooking all types of food, especially when it's family style meals. I also like all types of movies, books and interesting conversation.
I would like to learn how to cook food from all over the world, so if you have a recipe, I'd be happy to hear it.

I like many books. One that always come to mind is Cien Años de Soledad by colombian author Gabriel García Márquez.

La Grande Belleza and Florida Project are some of the good movies I saw lately.

I can cook many varieties of tacos, ceviches and other types of food.
I'm always open to learn about anything.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I sometimes have a free bedroom or mattress that can be placed in the living room.
I work quite a bit, but I can always find some time to show guests around.
