My first trip abroad was to Turkey in 2018, when I was Teenager. It was a life-changing journey. But when I came back to Iraq, I realized: “Ali, you don’t need to leave the country to meet incredible people or discover new cultures—you can do that right here!” Since 2021, I’ve been welcoming and connecting with travelers who visit Iraq, and I’ve already met more than 50 amazing people from around the world.
