About Me

Parisian born and bred.
I was born in a little town called Alfortville near Paris, and have been living in Villeneuve Saint Georges since I was a little less than one. I started to be passionate about travelling about eight years ago when I went on my very first trip all alone in California. Ever since, I try to be out of France at least three months a year. I became (almost?) fluent in English when I was sixteen, and I've been trying to learn German and Norwegian on my own for a couple years. I've studied English and literature at La Sorbonne (a tiny little university that you may have heard about...) and Music Management at the Paris Institute of Music. I’m now managing two French singers.

I love music, writing and reading.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I got into CouchSurfing when I travelled in Minnesota in 2019. When I came back home I thought it could be a good idea to be a host ; I love meeting new people and I'd love nothing more than to be your guide through your stay in Paris. I hosted a couple a lovely people and it went great.

Interests

I’m interested in music. I like to go to jazz clubs in the city once or twice a week, and if I get the chance to I go to big concerts. I love to read and write. Discover new food.

Music, Movies, and Books

My song of the moment is Rain – Unprocessed. I’m not currently reading anything but feel free to recommend me a good book so I can add it to my list. The last movie I watched was: Spider-Man: No Way Home (after a good old marathon of all the Spidey movies there is).

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach French. Funny sayings or words no one would’ve taught you. How to make a good sweet omelette. I’ll let you read my short stories if you can understand a little French, or the lyrics to some songs I try to write. We could even write one together! And if I host you and you’re lucky, my father will cook Egyptian food.

Countries I’ve Visited
