I'm Alicia! A Canadian university student studying geography who loves the ocean, the mountains, and everything in between.
I am a student at the University of Calgary and will be spending my final 2 semesters in Singapore at Nanyang Technological University.
A great passion of mine is learning about the world. Whether that be through research or by experience by way of travel and immersing myself in local cultures.
Staying fit while abroad is important to me. I love to hike, swim, bike, and do yoga and gymnastics either solo or in a group.
Food is another passion of mine; I try to live a healthy lifestyle and therefore it needs to be mega-nutritious (packed with veggies) and of course tasty!
I love to try new methods of exercise, experiment with recipes, live a fit and healthy lifestyle, and learn as much about the world as possible!

One of the best parts of the travel experience is the opportunity to meet and befriend so many new people from all over the world. Staying in hostels is always a blast, but you don't always get to know people who are living in the city. I think couchsurfer is a great way to get to know the best of a city becasue you are staying with a local!
