About Me

I just finished my bachelor degree in English Studies and Philosophy and before I'll continue my studies in British and North American Cultural studies for my master's degree, I decided it is time to explore the world a bit. I always had a wanderlust for places and people and already travelled to and through Australia and parts of Europe. I always look for new adventures, on my own but also with my husband.

Right now I am in the process of moving and I'll resettle with my husband in Freiburg, to complete my studies and maybe accomplish my PhD. Once I am settled I plan on offering up my couch to fellow surfers.

I am 24 years old, recently married, a wanderer and always up for new things in life to come.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and I am convinced travelling gives us freedom. The best parts of life are the people you meet along the way and the time you can share with them, as well as what you learn from each and every one.
I am new to Couchsurfing, but I am sure it brings people together and makes meeting new people easier and gives you a better insight into people's lives and culture, in whichever country you choose to stay. By learning, we understand, and once we understand we can make changes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Despite all my thoughts and old resolutions, I got married this May and it was the best thing I have ever done. I am more than happy to spend the rest of my life with this one person I adore, love and can also call my best friend. Our wedding was everything but usual, and the best part was riding the motorbike in my wedding dress.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to knit (especially scarfs), swim and do a split.

I want to learn more about people and cultures I visit, and I want to improve my Spanish skills.

I want to share my story and I want to share my grandparents' story in a book that I'll write (someday) because it is the best love story (besides my own) I have ever heard.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My food and cooking skills, because as known love comes with food and a full stomach.

I am a good listener and talker, so if you need any help or just an ear that listens, I am here for you, without judgement.

Random and silly facts that no one needs.

Beer, lots of it!
