About Me

Not really a fan of talking about myself. It costed me not getting a promotion one time🤣.

But in short, on I have quit my job, sold my stuff and traveling this beautiful magnificent world. It has been my dream for, gosh, as long as I remember myself, and I finally found courage to do it.

I hope this thought I wrote, which was inspired by beautiful soul I met on my travels, will help you better understand what kind of person I am with respect to others:

Meeting a person for the first time is like visiting his home. It would be a good idea to clear the dirt of your shoes, leaving all negativity behind, better yet, take them off. You wouldn’t come in empty handed, think of what you can gift to enhance and better his life. Look around, speak less and just listen, it will give you a chance to discover so much more. Treat his thoughts and emotions with the same level of respect that you would have, when commenting on his most favorite item in this dwelling. Be grateful that he shared his time and space with you and let you in his world, even for this short time. Were you able to do it? Do you find this person pleasant and interesting? Then every time you meet, visit his soul, like it is your first time there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While seeing new places and meeting other fellow travelers is absolutely great, getting to know people who actually live there, to learn their culture and then to share yours is so much more meaningful.

Interests

I love a good story, meeting new people, have meaningful conversations, share my food. Travel is my passion that helps with it a lot. I just starting to learn photography, still at basic level though.

Also, I like pretty much anything related to nature and animals: hiking, biking, walking, swimming. I love sunsets and sunrises!!! I have been vegan for 4 year, tried raw a couple of times, but still not there yet. I enjoy meditation and yoga.

Music, Movies, and Books

I think most people find my music preference a bit boring: classical music, solo guitar, jazz, swing and classical rock ( Beatles, RS, Jimi Hendrix, David Bowie, Doors to name a few).

Movies are a little bit trickier. I like a lot of movies, but they have to make me wonder. So I pretty much like everything by Hayao Miyazaki, Quentin Tarantino and Wes Anderson.

I love reading, but I tend to not finish a lot of them half way. Sue me😅! But my favorites would be 100 years of Solitude, Crime and Punishment, the Stranger.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked down and back to Havasupai and Havasu Falls

Teach, Learn, Share

My goal now is to learn about different cultures and points of views as much as possible, through people, interactions and connections, food, music, language, beer nights, whatever it takes. I want to grasp this world, even just a tiny percentage of an iceberg that we call life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am always happy to share my meditation and yoga practices, or vegan cookings.
