About Me
Hi! I live in south west Scotland and I'm happy to meet with and sometimes host people travelling in the area, depending on my schedule.
I enjoy the outdoors and spending time in nature. I'm pretty outgoing and enjoy performing with our local theatre society.
I can speak a bit of French and German and I can understand and speak some simple Spanish. I'm trying so hard to learn Pashto and Sorani Kurdish.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm happy to meet with and sometimes host people travelling in the area, depending on my schedule.
I live in our town centre and enjoy showing people around our local area and joining them when I'm able on hiking and sightseeing journeys. We have lots of lovely landscapes here; beaches, forests, hills, and lochs.
Additionally I've started to travel a bit by myself and I'll be in Kurdistan in March 2026, Athens in April and Istanbul in November. Would love to meet up with locals and explore. I am happy to help any English language learning students as I'm a Cambridge CELTA qualified ESOL and IELTS teacher.
I really enjoy meeting people from other countries because I love to share stories and reflect on our experiences of life and our world. Let's go for a long walk and chat about how we can make the most of this beautiful, crazy gift of life.
