About Me
In 2009, we took our first missions trip as a family to an orphanage in Mexico. It rocked our world. 5 years later, we sold everything (including the house we had personally built with our own hands in 2006) and moved to serve as missionaries for the orphanage in a marketing and graphic design role. We spent 5 beautiful years there and have now moved to WI as state-side advocates to promote short-term trips to families and churches while our daughters attend college. I enjoy photography, sewing, reading and adventuring.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Well, as missionaries, our only financial income is from friends and family, so our budget is generally slim which makes adventuring a little more daunting, but generally more fun!
Music, Movies, and Books
Elevation Worship, Hillsong and the like for music.
We are big fans of movies like Night at the Museum, National Treasure, and my personal favorite: Italian Job.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I won a 10-day trip to China through a radio station after calling in, writing and essay and finally a phone interview! I got to bring my husband and we had an amazing time adventuring and serving at an orphanage.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not the best at teaching, but I do love photography, so willing to share what I can, or do a photo shoot! Always willing to share about our travels, adventures and life in general.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love photography, so willing to share what I can, or do a photo shoot (portraits, products, etc). Always willing to help in the kitchen!
