About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Los Globesters' World Tour (see our blog at www.losglobesters.blogspot.com)
ABOUT ME
We are an active, sociable, fun-loving professional couple that enjoys adventure. We recently immigrated to Canada, and are now beginning a year-long trip around the world to experience some of the places we have heard so much about. Check out our blog at www.losglobesters.blogspot.com to get to know us better!
PHILOSOPHY
We are easygoing, open-minded folks, always looking to think outside the box and appreciate what others have to offer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We hosted some Surfers when we were living in Mexico last year, and we are currently traveling and will be Surfers ourselves. We would love to host Couch Surfers in Canada as soon as we finish traveling!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We have had a great time hosting Surfers, and have yet to surf ourselves :)
Interests
We love to spend time in the kitchen, cooking and socializing. We like to go out for a beer or coffee with our friends, go for long hikes, go to the movies, or stroll around town. We love animals, and hope to have some pets once we "settle down" (if that ever happens!). Working on our blog, taking pictures, filming our surroundings, and coming up with new ways to save more money are among the many things that keep us entertained in this fascinating life. We also find our careers as a Registered Nurse (Allegra) and a Construction Manager(Harold) to be fulfilling, and we will be eager to start work again when we are done traveling! For now, we are having a blast meeting new people during our adventures :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Allegra: I am obsessed with primates, and the more I can see them in the wild, the better. I first saw nonhuman primates in their natural habitat in the Ecuadorian Amazon in 2008. I was absolutely mesmerized by the troop of tamarins perched in the branches above our motorized canoe, shaking the leaves and pelting us with fruit pits to scare us away.
Harold: Being able to walk and breathe on my own again after an emergency surgery, respiratory complications, and an extremely long healing process.
