About Me
Hello! I'm a 24 year old Canadian who graduated from Recreation Management and Community Development from the University of Manitoba. After I graduated, I spent a year and a half abroad working and traveling South East Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, mainly Cambodia). Spent most of my time working in a paradise on the coast of Cambodia called Otres Beach. I met a fellow Canadian while working there and her and I made plans to get our working visas and head over to Australia. We are now in Perth and looking to meet some rad people. Nervous and excited, ready for more adventures!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We are on Couchsurfing because we like to meet interesting local people who can show us around and give us some great info about the places we visit. We've been through loads of hostels, ready to try a new experience. Also because we are running fairly tight on funds after our year abroad.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite music is classic rock, but I love most all genres. Always open to hearing new tunes. My favourite movies are comedies (Wedding Crashers), sports movies (Remember the Titans), and musicals (Grease). I like reading all types of books, mainly fictional murder mysteries.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I traveled to Kenya to help plan a cultural festival for a remote community declared by UNESCO as becoming culturally extinct. The festival was to become an annual event to help renew interest and revive the culture. So far it has ran two years successfully improving interest in the community. After that, I moved to the coast of Cambodia and snagged some work as a promotions manager for the Otres Night Market, which is listed in the Lonely Planet.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am currently learning to hula hoop and speak Spanish. Exotic.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can share a few stories and some good laughs and definitely a bottle of wine while we cook up a few dishes from places that we've traveled to.
