About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Traveling definitely opens your eyes and gives you an opportunity to get to know yourself better as you discover the world.
ABOUT ME
I am a nurse, originally from Uruguay, but I've lived in the US for over 15 years. What I love the most is traveling around world and getting to know different cultures. I like to find out what the locals like to do, what they eat, how they live. Traveling like a tourist is just plain boring. My best trips have been to places where Ive known somebody and I've been able to live how they live. It's just amazing! Now that I have a child, my traveling has slowed down a little bit, but I am still hitting the road, definitely :-)
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that people should care about others and also believe in balance. Only through balance we can live a good life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Even though I've been a Couchsurfing member for a while now, I am just now starting to participate and I am very excited about it. I do have a very young son and this makes my participation a little complicated for now :-), but as much as I can I am open to welcoming people who come to visit t and meet for lunch or show them around a little. I have couch surfed before and it was tons of fun. I am ready for more!

Life is Beautiful
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, the first thing that comes to mind is that time in Puerto Rico when a friend an I got lost at 1 am and ended up in La Perla (the most dangerous neighborhood in San Juan). As we were trying to get out of there, we were encountered by 8 guys who started "shaking" our car in an up and down motion. Mmm...we thought we were not going to make it out of there, but we finally did. What a night! The next day, a friend explained to us that that's a neighborhood that not even cops go into. Mmm...oh oh! oops!
Teach, Learn, Share
We can all learn from each other, we all have something to teach. We just need to be open to it. Every person brings something to our life.
