Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I´m trying to be as happy as I´m able to
ABOUT ME
I am an optimistic person who likes simple things like a good chat with friends. I think and look younger than I am, and I`m proud of that since I`m not in a hurry to grow up. I believe the most satisfactory way to spend my life is by getting to learn from it as much as one could.
PHILOSOPHY
Something like: smiles are the best free therapy against a blue day...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Mostly by hosting travellers at my flat in Madrid. Whenever I accept a request, I make sure to find the time to show people the city and take them to places I find interesting.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted several couchsurfers in the last year, even before of becoming a CS, since one of my roommates has also a CS profile. As a traveler, I met very nice CSers in Bucharest and I´m expecting to repeat the experience soon...
Interests
Although I`m an engineer, I don`t enjoy technology. On the contrary, I`m more of a simple, traditional guy. I love riding my bike around the city (in Madrid not always possible). My favourite sport is rock climbing. Sometimes I walk around Madrid, just because I feel like it. Better with friends. Even better with a beer. In my spare time I do some volunteering. Besides, as it is obvious, I believe that travelling is one of the best things to spend time at, apart from eating chocolate cake...

Music, Movies, and Books
I love old good (and sometime bad) movies along with a bucket of popcorns. I think Casablanca is one of the greatest movies ever. I`m crazy about TV series like House MD or Lost and more recently, Mad Men or Breaking Bad. My favourite show is Northern Exposure.I`m fond of those radio stations that play famous songs from the 80`s. I like reading rather than listening to music. One of my favourite writers is Neil Gaiman.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I guess quitting my job to have more time to travel, might be one of the craziest things I have done.
Teach, Learn, Share
Depends on the person I guess. Stories about trips are always a good start.
