About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Explore the world, meet new people, eat good food, take pictures of cats
ABOUT ME
All about having a good time, which, can mean a lot of things. Love to laugh and be with others that make me laugh. I make more sound effects than you could possibly imagine and invite you to experience them in person. I like to sing, either real songs or turn what I'm saying into a song. I appreciate puns a lot.
PHILOSOPHY
You only live once- enjoy it while it lasts. Meow.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been lucky to have great CS experiences. I think it's the best way to really get to know the city that you're visiting. It's way more homier than staying in a ho(s)tel, even if I'm sleeping on the floor. And of course, it's lovely to have friends all over the world :)I've made great friends with people I've met indirectly through couchsurfing
Interests
Learning languages, travel & exploring, art (drawing, painting, architecture, art history), sewing, knitting, drinking tea, nature, going on walks, shopping in thrift-stores, finding beauty in simple things/the obscure, being thoughtful, making weird noises, cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like an eclectic garble of music. I enjoy classic rock (60s, 70s)/oldies, electronic, alternative, rock and other stupid pop stuff.
AIR, Of Montreal, Elliott Smith, Ween, Foo Fighters, Elton John, Radiohead, Sugar, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Daft Punk, to name a few.
Plath's The Bell Jar, Strindbergs The Father, Borcherts Draußen vor der Tür, Plenzdorfs Die neuen Leiden des jungen Ws, Braschs Vor den Vätern Sterben die Söhne, etc. German lit is fun. I also enjoy artist biographies. I love reading but I tend to have an embarrassingly short attention span and am really bad about finishing books unless there is some sort of assignment... but, I like that because it usually involves me delving deeper into the story than I normally would.
Currently reading: Der Tod in Venedig
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
---learning another language was probably the greatest thing I've ever done and probably will ever do. That sounds very simplistic and maybe unimpressive due to all you polyglots out there, but among other things, it opened my eyes to new ways of life, thinking, and interests.
-- underwear bike ride in milwaukee
-- smoking with Ved's grandma
