About Me
Hello people of the world!
My birthname is Amalie Vibe Larsen but I like to go by the name of Mubbi.
I am a tweenty year old girl that lives in Copenhagen on the wonderfull island called Amager right next to Christiania. The I live in an appartment with two others. My roomie Amanda Kristiansen is also on couchsurfing!
If I had to decribe myself, which is what I am trying to do (d'oh Mubbi) I would call myself extremely laid-back, maybe too relaxed at some points.
So if you ever find yourself in a situation with me where I am silent or just not very communicative, it isn't because of the fact that I don't find you interesting (because trust me I will!) It is just because I'm more of a listener than a speaker that is until you really get to know me and vice versa, and in that case I will never stop talking. But I guess a lot of people feel like that when they meet someone for the first time. So, if you ever meet me, just talk until you drop, I will gladly listen, respond and enjoy our conversations :-D
I am a vegetarian, or I think the correct term for me now is pescetarian since I have picked up eating fish, it is just too delicious not to.
I'm currently studying The Higher Preparatory Examination also called HF, it might sound fancy but it really isn't. I haven't figured out what I want to go into depth with, study wise, so I'm using my HF years to figure out what might be interesting and what could be a potential future possibility. :)
just note that may and june will be hectic months due to exams!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm new to the couchsurfing community, but I have had couchsurfers stay at my old appartment, but they mainly communicated with my roomie Amanda.
I have never stayed with couchsurfers before, but I am excited at giving it a shot!
This summer I will be going on an interrail through parts of Europe with my really good friend Anna (I will post pictures of her too) Since travelling is expencive we decided that we wanted to try out couchsurfing, and also because it is a nice way to get to know other people :)
Anna is an incredibly funny individual she is open and talkative, much more than I am at least.
We are both excited to meet lots of amazing people on our trip :D
Interests
Well my interest change, or not really, but I have a tenedence to put myself up for a new task and work intense and hard on it for a while, until something new and interesting pops up. (It's a horrible habbit, I know) But mostly my lack of concentration towards my interests are because it collides with my homework. But thankfully sommer is ariving and exams are over soon!
My interest consist of things such as drawing and painting, playing chess, learning Japanese (it is hard, woo) watching movies and tv-shows rangeing from artsy farsty to really really really porely made movies.
I especially enjoy movies from the Ghibli studio, mainly Hayao Miyazaki movies, I love the fluffy textures the characters, landscapes and objects get, the animation is stunning and I love the supernatural elements of his movies.
I have recently started running so I guess that it fits under this box too since I enjoy it a lot, even though it is brutal towards my poor feet, haha.

Music, Movies, and Books
Again my music changes the same way my interest does. I will find a new artist, listen to him/her/them until I have worn down the repeat button and eventually move on to a new artist. But keep in mind that even though I change my main focus of music a lot, I still enjoy and listen to others during these intense periodes.
My music taste goes from A to Å,( that's right Å) and I can listen to every genre there is, but of course I have my favourite artist in diffrent genres.
I really enjoy listening to Bonobo, his album Black Sands is my favorite of all time!
Chet Faker (I never get tired of this man) his voice and his sound is so incredible.
In general I enjoy realxing downbeat music with a nice vibe to it. So if you know of such music artists or want some ideas. Hit me up!
Well I guess I already covered movies in the field above. But I'm going to obey the title of this box and give you some other movies I enjoy watching, or rather have enjoyed watching.
-Being John Malkovich. If you're into movies that are weird and quirky then this is a movie for you!
-Every Leonardo DiCaprio movie. Give that man an Oscar!
-The imitation game. If you haven't already watched this movie. GO WATCH IT NOW! It is unbelievably good!
When it comes to books, it is the same old same old. I find a book i like, I read it intensely for a while, and then slowly loose my grip on it and eventually struggle to pick it up again. So a couple of the books I am reading at moment, besides the books I read for school purposes, are Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien and The body by Stephen King.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2011 on Roskilde Festival, I was pulled up onto the stage to dance with none other than M.I.A !!! It was such and undescribable experience to stand on the Orange stage at 1 AM slightly inebriated looking out on the crowd consisting of about 60 to 80 thousand people!
It was such a wild night, and my friend (who was also pulled up on stage) an myself were completely ecstatic afterwards!
I guess it can't really be categorized as something I've done since it happened randomely, but it was still an amazing experience!
Teach, Learn, Share
Hmm, I wouldn't really know what to teach all of you guys. I make a killer humus :D Generally I'm somewhat suitable in a kitchen.
I want to learn everything you want to learn me. I enjoy random knowledge!
What I Can Share with Hosts
To sum it up, I guess I could contribute to some interesting experiences filled with my quirky humor and my (in my own opinion) good taste in music, movies and food :)
