Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of my best friends (and fellow world travelers) has been encouraging me since the beginning to try Couchsurfing. One time, I joined her travel plans at the last minute, and her host was kind enough to host me, too. It was such a cool experience, and ever since, I've been itching to recreate it in different places with different hosts.

Even though I'm "officially" new to Couchsurfing, I know what it means to be a good guest. You don't have to worry about messiness, noise, and all of that stuff when hosting me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Dubrovnik, I watched a steady line of local swimmers climbing a steep seaside cliff ( ~30 feet / ~9 meters tall ) and decided to test my athleticism. I'll never forget the realization dawning on me at the top: the only way down was to jump off the cliff into the water below. The adrenaline was real that day!

As corny as it sounds, my positive attitude! I'm a laid-back and happy person, and I hope it rubs off on you when we meet. Sometimes we need to be reminded how pointless it is to focus on the negative side of things, and how lucky we are to be living, traveling, and meeting new people on this awesome planet!
