About Me
**Unable to Host until September 2018 as we are traveling ourselves.**
Hello! I am a Montessori childcare provider with interests in environmental sustainability and cooking of all kinds! I love to take walks, play with animals, eat, drink, shop, garden, explore many facets of life, and just making friends in general!
Aaron is a telecommunications contractor who shares the idea of environmental sustainability as well. He enjoys playing music, skateboarding, film photography and sipping on neat whiskey. Anything outside is a plus for him, between hiking, fishing, and kayaking. A great conversationalist and a not so good chess player who wants to improve his skills.
Our main drive in life is to live with adventure, explore other cultures, and help create and nurture a global community. We love learning in all of its facets, and look forward to finding new, interesting ways of life and growing with them.
Our last big adventure was all over Europe, with stops in Dublin, Edinburgh, Paris, Pisa, Florence, Frankfurt, Trier and Amsterdam. We love adventure and we love sharing this world with everyone from all walks of life ❤
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We are here to have access to an awesome community of people to explore the world with! We are also here to build a global network of friends that help us understand the human condition. Also, we look forward to returning home to the states to begin hosting friends from all over the world in our own home!!

Music, Movies, and Books
Aaron and I have different and varied taste, so this is a great question for when we meet 🙂
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Recently finished an 8 week stay in Cornwall, England working with the WWOOF program (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms).
Cycled coast to coast in Cornwall (We hope to one day cycle up the coast of Japan).
Resuscitated 3 baby chicks back to life!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to cook! We can share recipes and spend much time in the kitchen. I enjoy learning and sharing ideas about education, as well as gaining different perspectives on world views and cultures.
Aaron can offer you guitars and instruments to play and learn on. Jamming with surfers and host is always a plus. He enjoys spending a lot of time outside and can show you beautiful trails, rivers, and parks. He has an amazing eye for the world around him and often points out the small beautiful things in the world that are often overlooked.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a friendly spirit and a great listener! I would love to be able to explore ideas with new people and come to a greater understanding of individual culture. I can offer my skills of cleanliness and cooking!
Aaron is a self taught musician and can offer help with repairing guitars, cameras, and is somewhat of a jack of all trades. He recently started playing chess and would love to improve his skills with fellow Surfers. He has a warming soul and loves to help in any way.
And through WWOOFing we now have lots of handy skills for working outdoors in gardens and with livestock!
