Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Besides a resolution to travel more, my sister and I purposefully chose a rental with a spare room so we could host others and show them a city we love so much: Albuquerque!

Interests

I work for a direct trade coffee roastery that is all about benefiting the farmers and pickers we buy from. I love this job because of its responsibility to people and the environment, and like to think that lens colors my outlook for a lot of other things in life. I play a little guitar and sing at some of our local open mics, and organize a monthly women's singer-songwriter music showcase. If you visit ABQ, playing tour guide is one of my absolute favorite things to do!

Movies- Anything Wes Anderson, Coen Bros, or Rogers and Hammerstein. Last movie I saw that I really loved was Hunt for the Wilderpeople.

Books-Anything history. Currently reading Half the Sky and All the Light We Cannot See.
