Hello, I'm Amanda! I'm relatively new to couchsurfing, having only tried it once, but it was a great experience! I am currently living in Vesoul, France while working as an assistant english teacher. I discovered my love for travelling while studying abroad in Montpellier, France two years ago, and took the first chance I had to come back! I hope to be able to keep living a life where I have to opportunity to travel and discover new places as often as I can, but for now I'm just appreciating life as it comes!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people, especially locals in new cities! I see couchsurfing as an incredible way to do so, and to discover a more personal viewpoint of new places.

Unfortunately I am unable to host people where I am currently living, but I would love to meet up with anyone who comes through Vesoul!

Interests

I love laughing, cooking, chatting. Getting lost in new cities and places. Discovering new food, new people. I want to try different things and just live life to its fullest.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'll listen to pretty much any type of music, I like almost all of it. My favorite movies depend on my mood, but I'm usually up for anything (with the exception of horror films) especially if it has a happy ending! Love reading new books, fiction is my favorite... just finished the Millennium trilogy and in the midst of reading Anna Karenina.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent the night under the stars in the Sahara Desert in Morocco-- absolutely incredible!
