Hey everyone,

We are Amandine (28 years old) and Leo (29 years old).

We traveled in Latin America in 2023. Leo traveled for about 7 months and I traveled for 9 months. After that, we came back to France for two years, but we missed Latin America a lot. That’s why we decided to buy a one-way plane ticket and come back.

Obviously, Couchsurfing has been the best experience of our trip. We met so many lovely people, and they truly changed our experience in the best way. For us, the most important thing is spending time with local people, exchanging about our cultures, and building new relationships.

I was a show jumping rider for more than 15 years, and I would love to compete again.
I am curious and very talkative, and I’m interested in pretty much everything. I enjoy quiet evenings with friends as much as going out to party.
It’s impossible for me to spend a whole day doing nothing at home — I’m always out and about.
I speak English fluently and have some knowledge of Spanish that I’d like to improve.

Leo has been working in construction for 15 years and enjoys building and renovation projects.
He is a motorcycle enthusiast, likes hiking, and is curious about many things. He is an easygoing person.
Leo doesn’t speak English yet (but wants to learn), and he can get by in Spanish (better than me).

As a guest:
Our CS experiences constitute the most beautiful memories of our trip. For us, it’s the encounters that create the journey. We will be delighted to spend a moment sharing with you, to discuss everyday life, cultural differences, or any subject that can bring us closer together.
We enjoy spending time with our hosts, during the day when possible, or at least in the evening.

As a host:
We have always been welcomed with open arms by our hosts. Thanks to them, we felt like we had a home and friends or family for a few days.
Today, we are back in France and we hope to be able to give back what was given to us.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Amandine & Leo : our 9 months in Latin America represent our greatest experience. We often have tears in our eyes thinking about everything we have experienced, the landscapes we have seen, the people we have met and our personal learning.

Amandine : I also competed in the French Jumping Equestrian Championships for 2 years when I was young, I have incredible memories of it.

Leo : The Salkantay trek with my parents was one of my best experiences. The landscapes were amazing, and I’m really glad I spent that moment with them!
