Overview
About Me
Hi! I am a writer and film photographer from the West Coast of the United States. After living in Ireland for three years, I now live in Portugal where I write novels, poetry, and zines and work in a camera shop. I am a fun, easy-going person always down for exploring art exhibitions, going to the cinema, doing yoga at new studios, having beers along the ocean, hiking in beautiful places, or other spontaneous adventures! I love to visit new places and connect deeply with other people. While I often travel with my partners and friends, I also love to solo travel and try to go once a year.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After a long time off of couchsurfing, I'm back in order to find a stronger sense of community when I'm solo traveling. I'm also looking for places to stay and new friends to meet while I'm in Barcelona starting next week, July 23rd, for the Experimental Photo Festival. I decided last-minute to go to this festival, because I'm deeply passionate about experimental analogue photography and want to learn more. I'm so excited to explore Barcelona, take lots of photos, and meet likeminded travelers and artists.
