I enjoy meeting people of different backgrounds and listening to their stories, cultures and thoughts. But occasionally, I enjoy exploring on my own too. What is most important to me is learning about the history, culture, and local's way of life in the place i am visiting.

I might end up in places where some locals might wonder why they would see a tourist like me near their neighbourhood.

Unfortunately, I am unable to host right now, but it's something I hope to do when I have more control over my living space.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling in itself is great, you get to see new sights, experience a different culture. But, having traveled to a number of countries, I realised it's not the beautiful sights that I remember years after, but rather the feeling I felt when connecting with the people (locals or tourists) during the trip. Meeting the people of the place I travel to is what makes my travel experiences most memorable.

I used to be really active on CS in 2019 pre-covid and have recently returned to rediscover what i enjoyed about the CS community.

Interests

I love exploring the places I get to go to, but I love trying to do better for the planet more. I choose not to fly as much as possible, especially if flights to a place is less than 3 hours 🚅🚍.

I am trying to transition to become a vegetarian, eating less meat 🥕 though I still consider myself to be a flexitarian (eating what is given to me if I have limited options)

I appreciate all types of art forms, whether if it's visual, sound, or movement arts. Though I wish I had the talent for more of these art forms, or maybe I just haven't discovered them yet.

Music
My most listened genre is indie folk-pop-rock. My current earworms are David Kushner. I'm a sucker for nostalgia so I listen to songs from the 00s/10s. I love old school EDM like my boys Zedd and Avicii.

Movies
The classic - Beetlejuice and Mary Poppins. Parasite is also another movie I can not get over.

TV Shows
I absolutely love Bojack's Horseman, Black Mirror, Bob's Burgers, The Handmaid's Tales and Sex Education. These are hands down the best shows i've watched. But the real winner here is The Good Place on Netflix. I'm not one who enjoys rewatching shows, but I'll gladly rewatch this one. If it's one show I have to recommend, it'll be The Good Place.
