Présentation
À propos de moi
Hey, I love socializing with people of different cultures, and exploring different countries.
Interested in meeting/hosting people from South (Latin) America, Australia, Europe, Canada, East Asia, South East Asia and Nepal. I only host people from abroad.
I'm orginally from New Delhi, which is one of the best metropolis in the world. But, currently staying in Mumbai/Panvel, to change things a bit. So I would like to guide travelers who can need help in maneuvering through India.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
Someone recommended it to me as the best way to learn about people from various cultures, so let's see how it goes.
Got to meet some really amazing people through this site.
I was inactive on CS for many years, but now have come back in full spirit :P Trips that I am planning this year are US, Canada and Bali.
Centres d'intérêt
Drama (acting), travelling , exploring new places, reading, basketball and I'm a major movie buff.
Morceaux de musique, films et livres
I think almost all genres of music have some really good songs. But if you'll look at my playlist you'll usually find EDM and Rock (including classic and metal)
Favourites include The Rolling Stones, The Who, Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Daft Punk, Deadmau5, Porcupine Tree.
As I said before I'm a major movie buff favourites include Memento, Fight Club, Pulp Fiction, Shame, Omkara, No Smoking... I can just go on and on with this.
Some of the great books that I've read which include both fiction and non-fiction are The Alchemist, State of the Nation, My Name is Red, Avenger, The Icon, Sapiens.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
Trekked 14 km steep uphill in 4 hours at Kedarnath mountain. It is exhilarating to be at the top of a mountain after a tough trek.
Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes
I can share my company with them lol. I think me and my hosts can both learn a lot from each other and I can provide them with my insight and perspective on life in general. Can share and teach some basic rules of ancient language of Sanskrit. I also have quite a bit of knowledge about Hinduism/Sanatan Dharma.
The flat where I'm hosting people is 50-60 KMS AWAY from Mumbai, in Panvel. I also have a place in mainland Mumbai but I rarely host people there. So kindly send hosting request only if you're comfortable with that. However, the housing society runs shuttle/bus service from my flat to Vashi, New Mumbai, so the place does have decent connectivity. Cab service is additionally available.
Other than that, I have my own car so that can be used for traveling from my flat.
I'm 6 foot 2 so the beds and couch at my place are good sized and hosting tall people is not an issue :D
Also important to mention that politically if you're "left muslim supporter" etc. then probably we're not going to get along. Also do not send a hosting request if you use couchsurfing as a site to find without charge/cheap place to stay. I think of couchsurfing as more of an ideas/cultural exchange.
Otherwise, all things said, I welcome you to my flat.
