About Me

I don't want time to just pass by, I want to be creating a story with my life.

I want to be creating period; whether through art and music or with relationships, it is important to create. It makes life more meaningful to be intentional. I especially love creating adventures. I have discovered that even a flat tire on the side of the road can be and adventure with good people and the right mindset.

I like to say I have a degree in people watching. I recently finished a Masters in Anthropology, because i truly find people and culture endlessly fascinating. I am a researcher, regardless of it not being something I'm currently being paid to do. I am working temp office jobs making ends meet while trying my best to hold onto the beauty of life in the middle of all the boring routines.

One of my favourite things to do recently is hiking. I wish I could say I do all these really intense and impressive hikes but mostly I have just been walking in pretty forest areas. But I do love challenges!
I love to climb but I have only ever done rock climbing in bouldering gyms. I would dearly like to change that though so If you could help with that let me know!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think the whole concept of couch surfing is amazing! generosity, sharing, appreciating differences and similarities, exploring different cultures and perspectives, getting to know the world around us better with great company!

Unfortunately my house/housemate situation does not allow me to currently be a host.
But I would love to meet some great like-minded people to explore the world with!

I love to take trips when I have week /weekend free!

Interests

I am a big fan of reading. I dont have an much time for real books anymore so I have turned to audiobooks. Yea yea I know a lot of people don't consider it "real reading" but I guess in this one area I support the 'ends justify the means' philosophy. I would rather go through life being read to and getting to know all of these stories and characters than not having the opportunity.

Book series I'm currently reading: Millenium Series E.g. Girl with the dragon tattoo (Lisbeth Salander is one of the most bad ass women in fiction! )
