Hello, my name is Amy. I live with my husband, my cat and my dog in the village of Kinver, where I work as a self-employed dog walker. Kinver is a great place to do a job like mine. There is lovely countryside, canals, rivers, heritage and lots of footpaths to explore. I love life in my little piece of village life and I am excited to share it with new friends!

Music: varies day-by-day. Quite like The Shins at the moment. Movies: most of Sofia Coppella's stuff, also The Descendants and The English Patient. Books: Biographies. Fiction-wise I LOVE Jane Eyre!
One Amazing Thing I've Done
In 2012 I trekked to Everest Base Camp, in Nepal, with my husband, for our honeymoon :-)
My Interests
I am very interested in my local countryside and our sometimes quirky history. I would love to be able to share these things with people who are interested. I am a keen walker, and really happy to show off some of my favourite walks with friends. I am based in a small village, with shops, pubs and restaurants, which is a great base for people visiting the Midlands, but wanting to stay outside the big urban areas. I also love cooking, and would enjoy cooking something delicious for any CouchSurfers who come to visit.
