Overview
About Me
Hi, you can call me Amy! I grew up in Taiwan and now work and live in the US. Currently I am not able to host people, but happy to meetup and explore some places together!
I have been moving around and living a nomadic life since 2019. I have stayed in Atlanta -> Edmonton (Canada) -> Boston -> Colorado -> Seattle -> California and now back to Colorado!
I love traveling, food, and nature (especially mountains!). The things that can't stop me from keep exploring the beauty of the mountains are the spectacular landscapes and the friendly people met during climbing/hiking.
Music is both my passion and profession. I am currently learning double-bass as a hobby but also like to try different instruments. When I visit a city, I would like to explore the local music scene.
Other trivial things about me:
- I am a cheese lover
- Pescatarian but willing to try new dishes in other countries.
- Dogs are awesome (especially Shiba Inu)
- I am fascinated by history
Hope someday I can visit your country and make friends with you :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am a girl curious about this world. Making the world a better place is one of my dreams. Kind of ideal but I believe it will come true someday. The first step is to know the world better, especially people from different countries, different background and different races. Couchsurfing is an awesome platform for me to fulfill my dream and meet amazing people. :) I am eager to experience all the new things and hear all the trivial stories happen every day in every corner.

Movie: Ancient War movies, romantic movies, documentary, or Anime. (My favorite is Cinema Paradiso!)
Book: I am not much of a reader, but I like reading historical books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
-Climbing to the highest peak in Taiwan (Mt. Jade 3952m) and saw the dreamlike sunrise penetrating the rolling mountains and coloring all the landscape red.
-Have a new year celebration at time square NYC (couldn't go to the bathroom for more than 12 hours...)
-Trekking in Malaysia jungle with leeches sucking all over the body and met a wild Panthera (I am lucky I am still alive...).
- Climbing 14ers (mountain higher than 14,000ft) in Colorado
