Overview
About Me
I travelled a lot and lived in different countries in my early youth, working as a translator and interpreter. Then I realised that I actually loved the mountains of my homeland, and I settled in the Pyrenees far from any village or inhabited house, and devoted myself to working my garden and leading a farmer's life. After several years of beautiful, healthy work, and much financial struggle, in 2012 I opened a B&B, and have been lucky enough to have lovely guests from all over the world.
I joined Couchsurfing 3 years ago, but I didn't have a chance to host any traveller from this community yet because my place can't be reached by public transport, nor could I surf because the mountains wouldn't let me go. This year, though, I feel the turn and I know it's time for me to go away and to go back to an area of the world that lingered in my heart despite the years and the distance: I'll go roaming for a while through Russia and Central Asia.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because travelling is about sharing other people's life for a while.
