A bit about me:

My name's Amy, I'm 26 and I grew up in Weymouth - on the south coast of England, 2 minutes away from the sea. I studied history at university and since then have worked in Armenia and Austria, before starting a masters in Central and Eastern European, Russian and Eurasian Studies last year. My course has allowed me to live and study in Estonia and Scotland, and this September I'm really excited to be moving to Krakow in Poland to spend a year studying there. I love exploring new places, meeting new people and learning languages - I'd be especially excited to practice my German with you if you would like to exchange!

In my free time you'll find me teaching myself guitar, reading science fiction novels, visiting museums and learning new vegetarian recipes. I also enjoy hiking, camping, and making music with other people :)

I've heard such great things from my friends who use Couchsurfing about the amazing people they've been able to connect with and the lasting friendships they've built. I'm always excited to gain new perspectives and discover new places and people, so I can't wait to get started.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love to sing and join music groups in the countries where I live/visit - when I moved to Estonia I joined an Estonian-language choir before I could even count to ten in Estonian...It was a great way to learn more of the language!
