Overview
About Me
Bubbly Grandma at heart and passionate about too many things.
Studied hospitality management (and passionate about hospitality), Couchsurfing is a way for me to give hospitality while keeping my flexibility. Love cooking and food, as well as tea. And always happy to be challenged or discovering new recipes/ways to cook/eat something.
If you've read my profile, tell me your current favourite song (or the one that pops in your mind when reading this).
I'm very open-minded and value honesty, transparency and communication. I'm very present in the alternative lifestyle community here, so very much kink and queer-friendly!
Love learning (especially about history and culture), books and animals. Also getting bigger and bigger into creating my own things (by sewing, knitting, etc. but still very much a beginner - I'll take any tips!).
Very much into boardgames too! Also got a couple experiences LARPing...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and locals, and I used to do that via dating apps. Couchsurfing is a way for me to meet new people, make new connections, experience new lifestyles, and hear about different opinions, either by hosting couchsurfers or by staying at someone's place. It's also a way to make traveling more affordable and more local, which would allow me to travel more often and explore the areas more like a local rather than a tourist.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I listen a bit of everything and like discovering something new.
Movies: Ghiblis, and many others.
Books: Huge book nerd, read all kinds of books and mangas.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was a Japanese high-school student.
I've helped friends reorganise their home according to the Marie Kondo method (or similar ... and I love doing it!)
What I Can Share with Hosts
As a traveler: good food, good conversation (or a comfortable silence), my contribution to the chores.
As a host, I can offer: I only have a small studio in Lausanne (about 30min from the main train station by public transport and foot). There's a bathroom, a kitchen, one double bed (which can accommodate up to 3 people if you sleep close to each other), a couch (for one (small) person), and a couch that can be turned into a bed (floor mattress) for two people (or one tall person to sleep diagonally on). Amazing view with an amazing host ;)
I'm happy to host people if I'm around (if you've read my profile, put "ananas" in your message), exchange stories and adventures, and get to know new people. Happy to give recommendations if needed/wanted.
What I expect: Honesty and transparency (it's very important to me) and a contribution to the housework, leaving the place (at least as clean) as you found it.
It is a smoke-free and drug-free flat (and there is no balcony).
