My boyfriend Tevis and I are artistic, easy going and friendly people who have an intense passion for exploring the world and all the different people in it. Tevis is a solo traditional blues and ragtime musician playing gigs here in Oregon and working part-time at a Thai restaurant. I am a fine art photographer and aspiring writer, also working part time doing online sales.

We love hiking, camping, going out to see live music, playing video games or watching movies at home, cooking, baking, going on walks, and exploring random small towns.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Both Tevis and I are immensely passionate about exploring the world, different cultures and having new experiences and adventures. Although we can definitely host an occasional fellow countryman or woman who is in a bind, we are really focused on hosting travelers from other countries. Therefore, for people who live in the US and are just traveling around the country, I am more likely to decline than accept your request. No offense guys! It's awesome that you are out exploring our own fascinating country!

What I Can Share with Hosts

If we are not busy, we can definitely take you out somewhere in town whatever your interests. We would love to take you on a beautiful hike, take you to a great restaurant, bar or cafe, a music show, a walk around town, a hang out with our friends, etc.

Tevis knows quite a bit about Portland history that he can tell you about, and I know all sorts of random interesting and possibly useless things about this world that I am more than happy to share = ))

If you love music you are in luck. We can easily arrange a jam session with amazing musicians for you to either enjoy or participate in. We also have a bunch of guitars at home! And a ukulele named Charlie.

I should also tell you that we do smoke marijuana in the house, but we can do that in a separate room from you if it offends you. And we are happy to share of course = ) We would greatly appreciate if you can let us know ahead of time how you feel about marijuana smoking, whether or not you smoke, and if you do not, if it bothers you to be around it. It's always awkward trying to figure that stuff out when our guests are already here = ))))
