About Me

Hi! My name is Anastasia. I'm a 28-year old (look and behave much younger!) game designer from Kiev. Taurus, ginger and a socialite.
Fond of travelling, reading, LARP and tabletop games. Love dogs and most of the other animals :) Have a passion for coffee, and know a 1001 way to brew it.
Always ready to meet with new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love visiting new places and meeting new people. Thought it would be nice to either show a foreigner around in my city or have a chance to get together with other people in different places.
Talking to people from other countries is always cool and gives you much to learn about their culture.

Interests

Books. Mainly fantasy, though there are some clessical novels that I love very much.
Animals. Wanted to become a vet when I was young, though happened to become an interpreter and a teacher, that then turned into designing games. Yeah, kinda tricky ;-)
Roap-jumping. The feeling you get during that 3-second free-fall is just amazing!
LARP and tabletop games. Maybe one of the most long-lasting interests in my life. I've been in LARPG for 8 years or so.
Cooking. Not a VERY good cook, but enjoy making something tasty. Nevertheless, my friends do seem to like my cookery.
Hand-made. I make soap, dreamcatchers, friendship bracelets and a whole lot more!

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh, my! There are too many bands and books that I like.
Mainly rock, fantasy and sci-fi, though I like classic, too (that goes both for music and books)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tough question.
Well, maybe the most amazing thing I can remember of at the moment is the fact that a year ago I found the strength to change my life completely and start from the very beginning to finally get the job I'd be fully interested in :)

It may not seem to be much, but it does meen a lot to me. Having the occupation you've always dreamt of is a kind of magic, and it makes you believe in yourself. Which is very important, isn't it?
