About Me

I am an international student from Russia on full scholarship at University of Oregon, studying towards my BA in Advertising, and Digital Arts. I love traveling and seeing new places. I have a blog and a youtube channel, where I share my traveling footage and experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As an foreign college student in the US, it's expensive to travel and live in hotels, especially because my student visa does not allow me to work and make money. I really want to see more of America and hopefully Couchserfing can help me travel across the US!

Interests

Videography, drawing, photography, listening to music, attending sports events, watching movies, traveling, journalism and mass media, fashion, blogging.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music, but my list of favorite artists includes: Alvvays, Beach House, Tennis, Dirty Heads and more. I actually work as a Radio DJ so ask me for music recommendations!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I won a competition and got a scholarship to go to the USA my junior year of high school as an exchange student. Without that unique and life-changing experience (I was placed to a host family in a college town in Indiana, by the way), I would not be in a US university right now. I'm extremely grateful for my parents' encouragement and my own choice to participate, because I was not sure at that time. It all turned out to be a great experience.
