About Me

Hello, world! I'm Anastasia, I'm a simple Russian girl (yeah, like to think that someone of Romanov family xoxo) with big dreams and wide worldview.
I 'm translator, but I'd like to try myself in different areas and to live thousand lives if possible. I'm interested in many things, but I have a bad habit of not becoming a master in them. I play my baby-ukulele a bit, and trying to play the guitar and of course love to sing even without music instruments. I'm home cooker and tasty vegetarian dishes are my credo. My favorite kind of exploring the city is riding a bike or a skateboard, sometimes jogging and yoga or just sitting in some atmospheric place watching people and making their sketches secretly :)
I really want to call myself a Writer, but all I write – seldom stories about life, love, people whom I knew and will know. Someday I’d like to create something special, a little fantasy book or a collection of fairytales.
I also keen on photography, shooting different things of everyday life, which make us who we are. Hope to learn how to work with film camera to make photos of beautiful strangers and new places.
I just start my journey in traveling but already know that it’s the important part of my life, my path and searches of others in this world. Climbing mountains, walking through forests, sailing in the oceans, getting lost in cities – all this is important when shared.
So, let’s be forever wild and young!
Hope, we’ll meet once on this beautiful planet.

Music, Movies, and Books

"Jonathan Livingston Seagull" by Richard Bach is my table Bible; J.R.R. Tolkien "The Lord of the Rings", A. Sapkowski "The Witcher", J. Kerouak "On the Road", J. London "Martin Iden", E. M. Remarque "Heaven Has No Favorites", C. McCullough "The Thorn Birds",
stories of Terri Pratchett and N. Gaiman, fairytales of the brothers Grimm and favorite tales of my childhood - "The Wizard of Oz" & "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer".

I'm the old beatnik in music - rock'n'roll, country, jazz! I'm also fond of folk and indie music, different undeground bands chants and classical compositions. The bast way to listen to it - in close company with guitar, in a authentic bar, by vinyl records.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To wake up every day and to love the life - is the coolest thing I always do!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some Russian words and songs, to play ukulele as not so good as me haha and I know a lot about animals and can help with your pets, I'm good in it!
Also I can teach you to cook some national dishes and to treat with (common opinion) incredibly delicious desserts.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Reading tales aloud, long conversations, yummy pancakes and nothing but my personality and my soul :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belarus, Italy, Poland, Turkey, Ukraine
