Hi, I´m Ander :))

I`m an open-minded person that constantly seeks new experiences. I want to travel, meet new people, learn everything about the world, try as much as possible, step out of my comfort zone, overcome my anxieties, learn about different ways of living expand my horizon and make sure to die without the feeling of having wasted my life on pointless things.
I would describe myself as very spontaneous, energetic, easy-going, adventurous and empathic. I'm not quiet sure if I'm introverted or extroverted - probably rather extroverted. I can be clumsy sometimes and get distracted easily (sorry for that).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am convincedd that this is the best way of travelling - it forces me to meet different people, learn new perspevtives and practise my english skills. I already met so many kind and interesting people through couchsurfing. I have learned so many new things from their life stories, saw their homes and their way of living and recieved some very good recommendations about the cities. But my low budget is an aspect too of course

Also I kind of hope to make some friends trough couchsurfing. It´s hard for me to find people my age in my area who are as passionated about traveling and going on adventures as me - I seek friends who understand my wanderlust and would like to travel with me

Interests

I have too many interests! One big passion of mine is art: I love painting, photography, making digital art and animation. I try to checkout the street art in every big city
Another one of my biggest passions is traveling (obviously). I love seeing new places, meeting new people and exploring new cultures. I love camping, hitchhiking and couchsurfing so much!
I have many plants in my apartment and I enjoy taking care of them. I also love listening to music and I recently started collecting vinyl records for some reason

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies/books/series that blows my mind and makes me question my way of thinking - Matrix, Black Mirror, Bandersnatch, Manifest, 1984, Dead Poets Society...suggestions are very welcome! I would love to write my own fictional book one day

which music I listen to kind of depends on the weather - in winter I listen to metal a lot, in summer it`s rather indie pop

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a backpacking adventure for about 8 months at the age of 18 and traveled 15 countries on my own. I've seen so many wonderful places and met a lot of amazing, interesting people from all over the world (thanks to Couchsurfing). I've got to explore new cultures and learned to handle stressful situations. I hitchhiked, talked to strangers on the street, stayed at strangers houses and made so many new experiences. It changed my way of thinking and my perspective on life a lot and made me even more open minded than I was before
