我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Sooo, my brother picked up a hitchhiker who was back packing across Canada and since my family had always been very hospitable he gave him my parents number and told him to call them when he got to our town. True to form my parents promptly went and picked him and and bright him home. He told me about couch surfing and encouraged me to try it out since I have done extensive travelling myself. So, here I am.

I enjoy music and singing and am able to use that skill quite a bit at my church. I love instrument and although I only play four instruments I own several violins, a viola, a mandolin, a vallia, a flute, a harp, a piano, a guitar, and a kazoo. I'm trying to develop and interest in exercising and running but my knees are protesting.

I've visited and lived in Zambia off and on since 1999 and had the amazing opportunity to be mother to 53 fantastic children at an orphanage, which I returned to three years in a row. I also mothered an orphaned Vervet monkey named Marley for three months.

I do quite a bit of travelling and am rarely home, this has made it totally impractical to own my own home.....so yeah....I kind of sort of still live with my parents. However we totally are a blessing to each other as I can travel to my hearts content and always have an inviting home to go to and my parents have started travelling as well so I'm able to hold down the fort when they head off. We are an awfully close family and my parents are just the best!! If you stay at my house, I may not even be there but you can be sure that my mom
and dad will welcome you will open arms and treat to a fantastic breakfast in the morning and send you off with prayers and warm wishes.
