About Me

Hi, my name is Andrea, i'm a Sicilian (Italian) boy, 21 years old. I've attended Classical Studies at High School ( Latin, Ancient Greek, Philosophy, Italian literature and other Umanistic subjects). After having studied Philosophy for one year at University, i've decided to change and now I'm attending International Politics and Sociology in Trento, northern Italy. I love travelling not only for sightseeing, but especially for experience new cultures trough people, the biggest aim in my life is to explore Humanity in all its differences, to better know it and to raise me the most human I can

Interests

I've had lot of experience in volunteering with poor people (overall homeless) and children. I love literature and politics, in the highest meaning of both terms, in their capability to improve people and society. I'm a very curious boy and have a lot of adaptability, I love country life as well as living in crowded cities where different humanity mixes. I'm very interested in talking with people, I'm always respectful and kind, and , last but not least, I never get angry. Oh, and I love history, another way to fulfill my willing to know

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reggae music as well as english and italians songwriters, not the one in circulation nowadays, but 60's and 70's songwriters, as bob dylan and de Andrè. I also love dancing each music it's possible to dance. I love world music and I use to prepare myself to a trip in a new country by exploring its folk music (and its literature), i'll be in Istanbul and I'm reading now Tanpinar's "Time Regulation Institute"

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you sicilian culture, maybe, although I don't consider myself enough to teach something to somebody. Maybe is better to say "talk" instead of "teach". In this case I can talk of all my studies, history, philosophy, my personal view of life, my idea of communitarism, about strange things happening in Italian politics and European one. Ehmmm and I want to learn as more as you can teach me : when I meet someone I love to be an empty box, just waiting to be filled with other men's experiences
