Music, Movies, and Books

Love all music (not crazy about slow music). Cut Copy (favorite band), Harry Potter, any good book. Like fiction books but recently have been reading more non-fiction (I am currently studying for a PhD- so much reading).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hard one. The sights in Costa Rica were constantly leaving me in awe. Beautiful beaches, amazing waterfalls, natural hot springs. The hard times I saw in Haiti left me in awe in a totally different way- this is crazy how many people live like this and know no differently. Any time a student learns something or something clicks or I get a chance to make an impact on somebody, the world, the environment I am happy. I bungee jumped in a canal in Greece, this was cool. I made a best friend with a lady in Spain who didn't speak any English and I speak VERY little Spanish- it was amazing to see how much you can connect with someone even without language. Moving to Poland was one of the most challenging and rewarding things I have done yet.

Teach, Learn, Share

I hope that I can share with others a zest for living. Too often people just pass through the world.
